Blippitt: Google $250 Adwords Credit: Was It a Scam?

I was one the 'victim' of google 250-gate :P As I promised to my client that he will receipt a 250 voucher, he aggred to be my client for SEM, but the coupon has never arrived for almost 3 months!!! So I have to paid my client as amount as I promised :(
It seems that adwords is holding a contest with over $1000 rewards for winners. Is it a scam contest also ???

I have just fallen for the same thing, only they are repeating the scam in the UK now with a £50 credit.
I signed up, entered my billing information (probably paid £5) and was told that my account was too old to receive the credit. If this is the case, then Google must have known that when they sent the coupon to my home address.
Now Google have my bank account details, and I have nothing! What a scam
